Zodiac

Zodiac Records was an independent record label owned by Stebbing Studios in Auckland New Zealand. Stebbing Studios had been releasing local artist on 78s since 1949 on it's Stebbing label. In 1951 it launched Zodiac Records. In 1957 Zodiac Records started issuing singles on the seven inch 45rpm vinyl format.

All singles were issued in a Zodiac company sleeve.

Zodiac: 1963-68

In 1963 Zodiac began being distributed by G. A. Wooller & Co Ltd.  The sleeve and label designed were changed. This sleeve was issued in  red, green and black.

Zodiac: 1968-74

In 1968  the sleeve and label design changed again.It was issued in black and light blue.

The blue sleeves sometimes had an ad for Pam-Am on the back. I am unsure of the date this was used.

Zodiac records stopped releasing singles in 1974.  In 1975 Stebbing Studios started up the Key label.
