A&M

A&M: 1963-66

In 1963 G.A. Wooller & Co. Ltd obtained the license to release the A&M Records catalogue in New Zealand. A&M artists were released on the G.A. Wooller & Co. Ltd owned Festival label. Festival singles were issued in the G.A. Wooller & Co. Ltd generic company sleeve or a plain white sleeve.

A&M: 1966-82

In November 1966 Festival Records split from G.A. Wooller & Co. It became incorporated and started trading as a separate company under the name Festival Records (NZ) Ltd. It had obtained the rights to release the A&M catalogue. It started issuing A&M releases on their new subsidiary label A&M Records (NZ). Between 1966 and 1982 A&M singles were issued in the generic Festival company sleeve.
