MCA

MCA 1970-72


MCA Records were originally distributed by the Allied International/Pye (NZ).  From 1969 to 1972 MCA singles were issued in an unique MCA sleeve.

Between 1973 and 1976 MCA singles were issued in the generic Pye company sleeve.

MCA 1976-80

Polygram took over distribution from 1976 until 1983. They used their own company sleeve.

In 1983 WEA were distributing the label.  They issued MCA singles in their own generic WEA company sleeves.

  MCA stopped releasing seven inch vinyl singles in New Zealand in 1986.
