This site provides information about the record company sleeves used for New Zealand pressed and distributed 7" vinyl 45s. There are some gaps and possible mistakes. If you can add a correct date or sleeve please add a comment or email us. The images of the centre labels are meant to be a guide. Some record companies produced multiple variations of their labels. Too many to show here. This site is dedicated to record sleeves.

Vertigo

Vertigo 1970-72

In 1970 Philips Electrical Industries of New Zealand Ltd distribution arm had just rebranded itself as PolyGram (NZ) Ltd. It obtained the rights to the newly formed British label Vertigo Records. I am unsure of the dates that the below Vertigo sleeve was used. Single would have likely to have been issued in the PolyGram company sleeve. I am unsure. If you can shed some light on this please leave a comment.

After 1985 Vertigo singles released in New Zealand were manufactured in Australia. I am unsure if they were issued in an Australian or New Zealand Sleeve. If you  can shed light on this please leave a comment or email me. Thanks.

The last vinyl Vertigo singles was released in New Zealand in 1991.
